Jacket On, Jacket Off

I thought the Jacket On Jacket Off sequence was absolutely BRILLIANT in the new remake of the Karate Kid. Even though it borrowed hints from the original, the film did an amazing job with keeping the context of Kung Fu as well as the dynamic chemistry of Dre and Mr Han. It was probably a very daunting task to remake a beloved classic, but I think this film was done with class, flare, and charm. I probably watched this movie 5 times in the last 2 days, and this particular sequence a dozen times more. "Kung Fu lives in everything, Xiao Dre. It lives in how you put on a jacket and how you take a jacket off. It lives in how you treat people." I've made up my mind that no one in their right mind can ever hate Jackie Chan. He is just that cool. And little Smith is taking the reigns from his ol' man very very well. Needless to say, I ADORE this movie, and probably cried more times than I'd like to admit.

...And I'll tell you a secret...
I liked this better than the original. (awaiting to get shot by loyal fans).

These two stole my heart.
"PICK UP YOUR JACKET!" XD
